Charity Season on Two Wheels
November is a special month in the New Jersey riding calendar: the big summer rallies are over, the weather is turning, and the riding community turns its attention to giving back. Toy runs, veteran benefits, and food drives fill the calendar — some of the most rewarding rides of the year, with big turnouts, good causes, and a reminder that the riding community looks after its own.
Important note first: none of the events below are WWMRC events, and none of them are organized by our club. We are sharing them because our members often ask what is happening nearby. If you go, you go on your own or with friends, not as a club ride, unless the club announces otherwise separately.
Also, organizers sometimes change or cancel events without much notice, especially late in the season when weather can force a call. Check before you go: confirm the event is still on, confirm the meeting details, and check the weather. A quick check on the day saves a wasted trip.
October 31, 2026: Haunted Mile (Next Mile Moto)
Kicking things off on Halloween, Next Mile Moto hosts the Haunted Mile, a 111-mile run through northern New Jersey twisties. The meet point is the Wawa in South Hackensack, with a 9:30 AM meet time, a 9:50 AM briefing, and kickstands up at 10:00 AM. The route runs via Clinton Road and Wawayanda Lake and finishes at the Blairstown Diner. Costumes are optional, and the ride is weather permitting. This is a Next Mile Moto event, not a WWMRC event.
November 1, 2026: Legion Riders Ride for the Vets (Galloway, NJ)
On November 1, the Legion Riders hold their Ride for the Vets in Galloway, New Jersey. This is a charity benefit ride supporting veterans, and it is the kind of event where the cause matters as much as the route. If you ride it, bring the spirit it deserves: respectful, steady, and there for the people it benefits.
November 1, 2026: BBSC Rock and Stock Food Drive IV (East Brunswick, NJ)
Also on November 1, the BBSC Rock and Stock Food Drive IV takes place in East Brunswick, New Jersey. This is a charity benefit centered on a food drive, which makes it a particularly timely event as the holiday season approaches. Food banks need support heading into winter, and a motorcycle event that fills a pantry is a good way to spend a Sunday.
November 8, 2026: 27th Annual Liberty H.O.G. Toy Run (Rahway, NJ)
On November 8, the 27th Annual Liberty H.O.G. Toy Run takes place in Rahway, New Jersey. Twenty-seven years is a long run for any charity event, and that history tells you something about the community behind it. Toy runs are a holiday-season tradition in the riding world, and this one is a well-established stop on the New Jersey calendar.
November 11, 2026: Veterans Day Freedom Ride (West Long Branch, NJ)
On Veterans Day itself, November 11, the Veterans Day Freedom Ride takes place in West Long Branch, New Jersey. A charity benefit ride on the actual holiday carries a particular weight, and it is a fitting way for riders to mark the day. As with the other benefit rides this month, the cause is the point.
November 13-14, 2026: American Endurance Racing 14-Hour Race (Millville, NJ)
For riders who prefer to watch fast machinery rather than ride in a group, November 13-14 brings American Endurance Racing to New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey, for a 14-hour endurance race. Endurance racing is a different kind of spectacle from sprint racing: strategy, pit stops, and machinery pushed to its limits over a long day. It is a good spectator weekend for riders who love the mechanical side of the sport.
November 21-22, 2026: TOR Racing Hunter GP (Millville, NJ)
Closing out the month, November 21-22 brings the TOR Racing Hunter GP to Millville, New Jersey, in a trail and motocross format. This is off-road racing, a world away from the charity street rides earlier in the month, and a reminder of how wide the motorcycle world is. If you have never watched a GP-format off-road event, it is worth seeing at least once.
Keep Checking the Calendar
This list covers the highlights we could verify for late October and November, but it is not exhaustive, and details can change. For the latest updates, new listings, and any last-minute changes, check CycleFish’s New Jersey calendar, which tracks motorcycle events across the state. And if you ride to any of these events, remember the late-season basics: dress warm, watch for leaves and deer, and plan to be home before dark. Have fun, and ride safe.
