Weekend Warrior Motorcycle Riding Club — Terms and Conditions

Effective: October 30, 2026

Weekend Warrior Club LLC, doing business as Weekend Warrior Motorcycle Riding Club (“WWMRC,” “the Club,” “we,” “us”).

Please read these Terms carefully. They are a binding agreement between you and the Club. By submitting a membership application, joining a ride, event, or excursion, or using this website, you accept these Terms. These Terms include an assumption of risk, a release and waiver of liability, an indemnification obligation, a limitation of liability, and a binding arbitration clause with a jury trial waiver and a class action waiver.

Contact: weekendwarriormc@gmail.com

1. About the Club and These Terms

1.1. The Club is a Central Jersey motorcycle riding club. We organize group rides, social events, and multi-day excursions, primarily in New Jersey and nearby areas, from April through November.

1.2. These Terms govern membership in the Club, participation in all Club rides, events, and excursions, use of this website, and use of any Club communication channel. They apply to every member, guest, and website visitor.

1.3. The Club is operated by Weekend Warrior Club LLC. References in these Terms to “the Club” include the LLC, its owner Bashar Salah personally, and its officers, ride leaders, and volunteers, where the context requires.

1.4. These Terms supersede all prior versions of the Club’s terms and conditions.

2. Membership Is Free

2.1. Membership in the Club is free. There are no dues, no membership plans or tiers, no joining fees, no renewal fees, and no checkout for membership.

2.2. Nothing on this website requires payment to become or remain a member. Any reference to a cost applies only to a specific ride, event, or excursion as listed for that event (see Section 18), or to optional club gear (see Section 19).

2.3. Because membership is free, there is no membership fee to refund, prorate, or dispute, and no membership billing cycle.

3. Eligibility

3.1. To be a member, you must:

(a) be at least 18 years old;
(b) hold a valid motorcycle license with the endorsement required by your state;
(c) own or have lawful use of a street-legal, registered, and insured motorcycle;
(d) complete the membership application truthfully and accept these Terms.

3.2. You must keep your license, registration, and insurance current for as long as you ride with the Club. If any of them lapses, you must not ride with the Club until it is restored.

3.3. Membership is personal to you. You may not transfer, sell, lend, or share your membership.

3.4. The Club does not accept members with gang affiliations. You represent that you have no gang affiliation when you apply and while you remain a member.

4. Membership Application and Acceptance

4.1. To apply, you must complete the membership application on this website, providing your first and last name, birthday, phone number, email address, how you found the Club, why you want to join, your group-formation experience, any other motorcycle club membership (or “N/A”), your riding skill level, your years actively riding, your main motorcycle (brand, model, and year) and its type, and at least one emergency contact.

4.2. You must check every agreement box on the application and submit the form. Checking the boxes and submitting the form is your agreement to these Terms and to the Club’s safety rules. It has the same effect as signing a written agreement.

4.3. Submitting an application does not guarantee membership. The Club may accept or decline any application, in its sole discretion, without giving a reason and without appeal.

4.4. You must keep the information on your application accurate and current. Notify the Club promptly at weekendwarriormc@gmail.com if your contact information, motorcycle, license status, or emergency contact changes.

4.5. The Club may verify any information on your application. Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination of membership.

5. Assumption of Risk

5.1. Motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity. You voluntarily assume all risks of participating in Club rides, events, and excursions, whether or not those risks are listed here.

5.2. The risks you assume include, but are not limited to: collision with vehicles, other riders, pedestrians, animals, or objects; loss of control; road hazards, including potholes, gravel, debris, wet or icy surfaces, and construction; weather, including rain, wind, heat, cold, and reduced visibility; equipment or motorcycle failure; the acts or omissions of other riders, drivers, passengers, spectators, or third parties; fatigue; and the risk of serious bodily injury, disability, and death.

5.3. You acknowledge that group riding adds risks of its own, including riding in formation, following a ride leader’s route, and riding near other motorcycles. You accept those risks as part of group riding.

5.4. You are responsible for judging your own ability, fitness, and readiness for every ride. If you are tired, unwell, impaired, or unsure about a route or conditions, do not ride. No one at the Club will make that judgment for you, and no ride leader’s decision to proceed is a guarantee that a ride is safe.

6. Release and Waiver of Liability

6.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge Weekend Warrior Club LLC, Bashar Salah personally as owner, and the Club’s officers, directors, ride leaders, volunteers, and agents (together, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damages, costs, expenses, and liability of any kind, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to your membership, your participation in any Club ride, event, or excursion, or your use of this website — including claims for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss, and including claims based on negligence.

6.2. This release covers claims arising before, during, and after any ride, event, or excursion, including travel to and from Club activities.

6.3. This release is intended to be as broad as the law allows. If any part of it is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in full effect, and the unenforceable part will be read as narrowly as necessary to make it enforceable.

6.4. Nothing in this release limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited. Nothing in these Terms requires you to waive a right you cannot legally waive.

7. Covenant Not to Sue

7.1. You agree not to sue, or to bring, join, or support any claim against, any Released Party for any matter covered by the release in Section 6.

7.2. If you breach this covenant, you are responsible for the Released Parties’ reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs incurred in defending the claim, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Indemnification

8.1. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

(a) your participation in any Club ride, event, or excursion;
(b) your conduct, including any violation of these Terms, any Club rule, or any law;
(c) your motorcycle, gear, or equipment;
(d) any guest you invite or bring to a Club activity (see Section 16); or
(e) any content you post or share in connection with the Club.

8.2. This indemnification applies even if a claim also involves the conduct of another person, except to the extent a court finally determines the claim was caused solely by the willful misconduct of the indemnified party.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Released Parties are not liable to you for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your membership, any Club activity, or this website.

9.2. The total liability of the Released Parties to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to your membership, any Club activity, or this website will not exceed $100.

9.3. Because membership is free, no membership fee is ever at stake in any claim. The $100 cap in Section 9.2 is the maximum aggregate liability regardless of the number of claims or events.

10. No Liability for Others, Equipment, Weather, or Roads

10.1. The Club is not responsible for the conduct of any member, guest, driver, or other third party, including negligent, reckless, or unlawful conduct.

10.2. The Club does not inspect, warrant, or guarantee any motorcycle, gear, or equipment, including your own. You are solely responsible for the condition, maintenance, and roadworthiness of your motorcycle and gear.

10.3. The Club does not control, and is not responsible for, weather, road conditions, traffic, route conditions, venues, lodging, or any third-party service used on a ride, event, or excursion.

10.4. Route information, ride descriptions, and event details are provided for planning only. They are not warranties about road conditions, safety, distance, duration, or suitability.

11. Motorcycle, License, and Insurance Requirements

11.1. You must ride a street-legal, registered, and insured motorcycle. You must carry the insurance required by law and be able to show proof of insurance and registration if a ride leader asks.

11.2. You must hold a valid motorcycle license with the endorsement required by your state and carry it on every ride.

11.3. You must obey all traffic laws and all applicable state and local laws on every ride, including speed limits, helmet laws, and passenger rules.

11.4. You must not ride a motorcycle that you know or reasonably should know is unsafe, unregistered, or uninsured. A ride leader may exclude any motorcycle that appears unsafe, and that decision is final.

12. Gear Requirements

12.1. A helmet meeting U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) standards is mandatory on every Club ride, for every rider and passenger, without exception. A ride leader will exclude any rider or passenger who is not wearing a DOT-approved helmet, and that decision is final.

12.2. You must also wear the additional protective gear required by law and any additional gear the ride leader requires for a particular ride. The Club strongly recommends full protective gear at all times: eye protection, gloves, a riding jacket, long pants, and over-the-ankle boots.

12.3. You are solely responsible for the condition and fit of your gear. The Club does not supply, inspect, or warrant gear.

13. Ride Rules

13.1. On every ride, you must:

(a) attend the pre-ride briefing and follow the route and plan given there;
(b) follow the instructions of the ride leader at all times, including directions on formation, pace, stops, and route changes;
(c) use the Club’s hand signals and ride in the formation directed by the ride leader;
(d) ride at a pace within your ability and never beyond it to keep up with the group;
(e) keep a safe following distance and never ride in a way that endangers yourself, another rider, or anyone else;
(f) obey all traffic laws and all directions of law enforcement;
(g) carry a charged phone and the emergency contact information you provided on your application.

13.2. You must not, before or during any ride, consume alcohol or any drug or substance that impairs your ability to ride safely, including any medication that affects alertness or coordination. A ride leader may exclude any rider who appears impaired, and that decision is final.

13.3. You must not race, stunt, wheelie, show off, or ride recklessly or aggressively on any Club ride. Any such behavior is grounds for immediate removal from the ride and termination of membership.

13.4. Ride leaders have full authority on a ride. A ride leader may change the route, shorten or end a ride, set or change the pace, or remove any rider from a ride, in the ride leader’s sole judgment. You must comply immediately. A ride leader’s decision on a ride is final and is not subject to appeal.

13.5. If you choose to leave a ride early, you must tell the ride leader first and leave only when it is safe to do so. Once you leave the group, you ride entirely on your own and the Club has no responsibility for you.

13.6. You ride at your own risk at all times. Nothing a ride leader says or does is a guarantee of safety, and no ride leader is your insurer, instructor, or guarantor.

14. Conduct Code

14.1. The Club is built on camaraderie and safe riding. You must behave accordingly at all Club activities, in Club communication channels, and in any public post about the Club.

14.2. You must not:

(a) engage in disruptive, unsafe, violent, threatening, or harassing behavior;
(b) harass, discriminate against, or intimidate any person, including on the basis of race, sex, age, disability, religion, national origin, or any other protected characteristic;
(c) use language or conduct that is abusive, vulgar, or demeaning toward any member, guest, ride leader, or member of the public;
(d) damage or misuse anyone else’s property;
(e) bring or use illegal drugs at any Club activity;
(f) carry or display a weapon at any Club activity in a manner that threatens or intimidates others;
(g) misrepresent yourself, your experience, your license status, or your motorcycle;
(h) record, photograph, or share images of another person in a harassing or non-consensual manner, or after being asked to stop.

14.3. You must treat ride leaders, volunteers, venue staff, and members of the public with respect. Disagreements are handled calmly and privately, never on a ride or in a public channel.

15. Enforcement: Refusal, Suspension, and Termination

15.1. The Club may, in its sole discretion, refuse, suspend, or terminate any membership, or remove any person from any ride, event, excursion, or communication channel, at any time, with or without cause, with or without prior notice, and without appeal.

15.2. Grounds for enforcement include, but are not limited to: unsafe riding; violating these Terms or any Club rule; disruptive, harassing, or dishonest behavior; providing false information; failing to follow a ride leader’s instructions; and any conduct the Club considers harmful to the Club, its members, or its reputation.

15.3. Termination ends your membership and your right to participate in Club activities and communication channels. Because membership is free, termination involves no refund. Any excursion or event cost you have already paid is governed by Section 18.5.

15.4. A terminated member must not reapply, attend Club activities, or use Club communication channels unless the Club expressly invites them back in writing.

15.5. The Club’s decision to enforce or not to enforce these Terms in any instance does not waive its right to enforce them in any other instance.

16. Guests

16.1. A guest may ride with the Club only if the guest completes their own membership application, accepts these Terms, and meets the eligibility requirements in Section 3 before the ride. Every guest rider and every guest passenger needs their own completed application.

16.2. The inviting member is responsible for their guest. You must make sure your guest understands and follows these Terms and the Club’s ride rules, and you are responsible under Section 8 for claims arising from your guest’s participation.

16.3. Guests have no membership rights and may be refused or removed under Section 15 on the same basis as members.

16.4. A guest’s participation on one ride does not make them a member and does not entitle them to future rides.

17. Minors

17.1. Membership is limited to persons 18 years or older. No person under 18 may be a member.

17.2. A person under 18 may ride only as a passenger, only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, only under the direct supervision of that parent or guardian or of an adult member authorized by the parent or guardian, and only in compliance with all applicable laws. The adult member responsible for a minor passenger assumes full responsibility for that minor and accepts these Terms on the minor’s behalf to the fullest extent permitted by law.

18. Rides, Events, and Excursions

18.1. The Club organizes rides, social events, and multi-day excursions, generally from April through November. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

18.2. You must RSVP as directed for any ride, event, or excursion that requires it. If you RSVP and cannot attend, cancel as early as possible. Repeated RSVP no-shows are a violation of these Terms: after one warning, further no-shows may result in removal from ride lists or termination of membership.

18.3. Excursions may be limited by real capacity (lodging, venue, or group size). Spots are allocated as stated for that excursion. Some excursions are members-only, as stated for that excursion.

18.4. Event details, including dates, meet points, routes, and schedules, may change. The Club will communicate changes through the channels it uses for that event. It is your responsibility to check for updates before a ride.

18.5. Costs: membership is free, but a specific ride, event, or excursion may have a cost, as listed for that event (for example, lodging or a listed activity). Only the costs listed for that event apply. Gas, gear, supplies, meals not listed, and personal expenses are always your own. If you cancel or are removed from an event, any refund is governed by the cancellation terms stated for that event; if none are stated, payments for that event are non-refundable.

18.6. The Club may cancel, reschedule, or change any ride, event, or excursion at any time, including for weather, safety, or capacity reasons. The Club is not liable for any cost or loss you incur because of a cancellation or change.

19. Club Gear

19.1. The Club may list club gear (such as apparel) on this website. Listings describe the item, colors, sizes, and price where shown.

19.2. Any purchase of club gear is governed by the purchase terms stated at the time of purchase. Membership is never a condition of, or a fee for, purchasing gear, and purchasing gear does not create or extend membership.

19.3. The Club makes no warranty about gear beyond what is stated at purchase, and Section 9 applies to any gear claim to the fullest extent permitted by law.

20. Medical and Emergency Authorization

20.1. You authorize the Club, ride leaders, and volunteers to seek emergency medical treatment for you if you are injured or incapacitated and cannot consent, and to share your emergency contact information with emergency responders and medical personnel.

20.2. You are responsible for your own medical costs. The Club does not provide medical care, medical insurance, or accident insurance.

20.3. You must disclose on your application any medical condition that could affect your safe participation, to the extent you are comfortable doing so, and you must carry any medication you need on every ride. The Club is not responsible for managing your medical condition.

20.4. Emergency contacts you name are for notification only. Naming an emergency contact does not make that person your medical decision-maker unless the law or a separate legal document provides otherwise.

21. Photo, Video, and Media Consent

21.1. By participating in Club activities, you consent to the Club photographing, filming, and recording you, and to the Club using your image, likeness, voice, and name in Club materials, including this website and the Club’s social media, for Club purposes, without compensation.

21.2. Opt-out: if you do not want to be photographed or featured, tell the Club in writing at weekendwarriormc@gmail.com before an event, or tell the ride leader at the start of a ride. The Club will make reasonable efforts to exclude you from posed and featured photographs going forward. The Club cannot guarantee exclusion from candid group photography, and this opt-out does not apply to photographs already published; you may ask the Club to remove a published photograph of you, and the Club will do so where reasonably practicable.

21.3. You must not photograph or record another person in a harassing manner or after being asked to stop, and you must not use Club photographs to harm the Club or any member.

22. Social Media and Communications

22.1. The Club’s private members’ WhatsApp group is for members only. You must never share, post, or forward the private WhatsApp invite link or any access details for any Club communication channel, publicly or to any non-member. Riders receive access only after their first ride, as the Club directs.

22.2. You must not post, share, or publish content that harms the Club, its members, its partners, or its reputation, including false statements, private member information, or the details of any internal Club matter.

22.3. You must not claim to speak for, or act on behalf of, the Club — including to sponsors, partners, venues, media, or the public — unless the Club has expressly authorized you in writing to do so.

22.4. The Club may remove you from any Club communication channel under Section 15. Removal from a channel does not by itself terminate membership, and termination of membership includes removal from all Club channels.

22.5. You are responsible for what you post in any Club channel or about the Club. Section 8 applies to claims arising from your posts.

23. Intellectual Property: Club Name, Logo, and Patch

23.1. The Club name, “Weekend Warrior Motorcycle Riding Club,” “WWMRC,” the Club logo, the Club patch, and all Club branding are the property of Weekend Warrior Club LLC.

23.2. You must not use the Club name, logo, patch, or branding for any purpose without the Club’s prior written permission. This includes merchandise, apparel, social media accounts, events, or any representation that you are affiliated with or endorsed by the Club beyond your membership.

23.3. Any patch, rank, badge, or recognition (such as Ride Captain) is earned recognition granted by the Club. It is not a paid tier, it confers no ownership or authority beyond what the Club grants, and the Club may grant or withdraw it in its sole discretion.

23.4. You must not copy, reproduce, or distribute Club materials, photographs, routes, or member information except for your personal, non-commercial use as a member.

24. No Solicitation or Recruiting

24.1. You must not use the Club, its activities, its communication channels, or its member list to solicit members for any commercial purpose, product, service, or business, unless the Club has expressly authorized it in writing.

24.2. You must not use the Club to recruit members to another motorcycle club or riding group.

24.3. Sponsors and partners interact with the Club only through the Club. You must not approach a Club sponsor or partner on the Club’s behalf or use a Club relationship for personal commercial gain.

25. Privacy

25.1. The Club’s Privacy Policy, published on this website, explains what personal data the Club collects, how it is used, and how you can ask for correction or deletion. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

25.2. You must not share another member’s personal information (including phone numbers, addresses, or emergency contact details) with anyone outside the Club, or post it publicly.

26. Electronic Communications and Agreement

26.1. By providing your email address on the membership application, you consent to receive Club communications by email, including ride announcements, event details, safety notices, and changes to these Terms or the Privacy Policy.

26.2. Checking the agreement boxes and submitting the membership application is your electronic agreement to these Terms. You agree that this electronic agreement has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.

26.3. You may withdraw consent to marketing-style communications by contacting the Club, but the Club may still contact you about your membership, safety matters, and events you have joined.

27. Dispute Resolution: Binding Arbitration in New Jersey; Jury and Class Waiver

27.1. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or related to these Terms, your membership, any Club activity, or this website will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration in New Jersey, administered under the rules of a nationally recognized arbitration provider, rather than in court.

27.2. You and the Club each waive any right to a jury trial. You and the Club each waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action, or in any arbitration or proceeding as a class or representative.

27.3. The arbitrator will have the authority to award the same relief a court could award, subject to the limitation of liability in Section 9. The arbitrator’s award will be final and binding, and judgment on it may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

27.4. If the arbitration agreement in this Section is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

27.5. Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking temporary or preliminary injunctive relief from a New Jersey court to protect its rights while arbitration is pending, or from bringing an individual claim in small claims court if that court has jurisdiction.

28. Governing Law

28.1. These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or related to them, are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

29. Changes to These Terms

29.1. The Club may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this website with a new effective date, and the Club will give notice of the update through a Club communication channel or on the website.

29.2. Your continued membership or participation in any Club activity after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept updated Terms, you must stop participating and notify the Club; your membership will be terminated without penalty beyond Section 18.5.

29.3. The version of these Terms in effect when you submit your membership application governs your application; the version in effect at the time of an activity governs that activity.

30. Severability

30.1. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or, if it cannot be modified, severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.

31. No Waiver

31.1. The Club’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms, or its delay in doing so, does not waive its right to enforce that provision or any other provision at any time.

32. Assignment

32.1. You may not assign your membership or any rights under these Terms. The Club may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, to a successor operator of the Club, and any such assignment will be binding on you.

33. Entire Agreement

33.1. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the membership application, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Club regarding membership and participation in Club activities, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, representations, and agreements on that subject.

33.2. No oral statement by any member, ride leader, or volunteer modifies these Terms. Only a written amendment published by the Club under Section 29, or signed by the Club, changes these Terms.

34. Force Majeure

34.1. The Club is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations (other than payment obligations, of which there are none for membership) caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, government action, pandemics, utility failures, or venue closures.

35. Contact

35.1. Questions about these Terms, membership, or the Club may be sent to weekendwarriormc@gmail.com.

35.2. The Club’s legal entity is Weekend Warrior Club LLC, doing business as Weekend Warrior Motorcycle Riding Club (WWMRC). The Club does not publish a phone number; email is the Club’s contact method.

By submitting the membership application and checking the agreement boxes, you confirm that you have read these Terms, understand that they include a release of liability and a binding arbitration clause, and agree to be bound by them.
