Weekend Warrior Club LLC, doing business as Weekend Warrior Motorcycle Riding Club (“WWMRC,” “the Club,” “we,” “us”).

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the Club collects through this website, how it is used, and how you can ask for it to be corrected or deleted. It applies only to this website and to communications with the Club about membership and Club activities.

1.1. This website is operated by Weekend Warrior Club LLC, doing business as Weekend Warrior Motorcycle Riding Club (WWMRC), a Central Jersey motorcycle riding club.

2. What We Collect

2.1. Membership application. When you submit the membership application on this website, you provide: your first and last name, birthday, phone number, email address, how you found the Club, why you want to join, your group-formation experience, any other motorcycle club membership (or “N/A”), your riding skill level, your years actively riding, your main motorcycle (brand, model, and year) and its type, and your emergency contact or contacts (names and phone numbers).

2.2. Contact form and email. When you use the contact form on this website, or email the Club at weekendwarriormc@gmail.com, you provide the name, email address, and message content you include. The Club keeps these messages to respond to you and to administer membership and Club activities.

2.3. Website operation data. This website is hosted on WordPress.com. As part of operating the site, WordPress.com may collect standard technical information, such as IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, and may set cookies that are necessary for the site to function (for example, to display pages and remember basic settings). The Club does not operate its own analytics or advertising tracking on this website.

2.4. What we do not collect. The Club does not collect payment information through this website. Membership is free, there is no membership checkout, and the Club does not process payments for membership. The Club does not operate a newsletter signup on this website and does not collect information for advertising.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1. The Club uses the information it collects only for Club operations, including:

(a) processing and administering membership applications;

(b) communicating about rides, events, excursions, safety notices, and Club business;

(d) responding to your inquiries;

(e) enforcing the Club’s Terms and Conditions and safety rules; and

(f) operating and maintaining this website.

3.2. The Club does not use your information for advertising, and does not use it for any purpose unrelated to the Club without your consent.

4. Cookies

4.1. This website uses only cookies that are necessary for the site to function, as provided by its WordPress.com hosting. The Club does not set advertising cookies and does not use third-party advertising trackers.

4.2. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of this website from working properly.

5. How We Share Your Information

5.1. The Club shares personal data only as follows:

(a) Service providers needed to run the site: WordPress.com (website hosting) and the Club’s email provider (used to receive and send Club email) process data on the Club’s behalf and only as needed to provide those services.

(b) Emergency: your emergency contact information may be shared with emergency responders or medical personnel if you are injured or incapacitated at a Club activity.

(c) Legal: the Club may disclose information if required by law, court order, or legal process, or to protect the safety of any person or the rights of the Club.

5.2. The Club does not sell personal data. The Club does not share personal data with advertisers, data brokers, sponsors, or partners for their own marketing.

5.3. The Club does not publish member information on this website or on social media. Member phone numbers, addresses, birthdays, and emergency contact details are never posted publicly.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

6.1. The Club keeps membership application information for as long as you remain a member, and for a reasonable period afterward to maintain Club records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

6.2. Contact form messages and emails are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and to administer the matter you wrote about.

6.3. When information is no longer needed, the Club deletes or de-identifies it, subject to Section 6.1 and any legal retention requirement.

7. Your Choices: Correction and Deletion

7.1. You may ask the Club to correct, update, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing weekendwarriormc@gmail.com. Include your full name and the email address on your application so the Club can find your record.

7.2. The Club will respond to a correction or deletion request within a reasonable time. Deletion ends the Club’s use of your data for membership purposes; if you wish to remain a member, the Club may need to keep the information required to administer your membership.

7.3. The Club may decline or limit a deletion request where it must keep information to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce the Club’s Terms and Conditions.

8. Children

8.1. This website and Club membership are for persons 18 years or older only. The Club does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

8.2. If a parent or guardian believes the Club has collected information from a minor (other than a minor passenger’s information provided with guardian consent for a specific ride), contact the Club at weekendwarriormc@gmail.com and the Club will delete it.

9. Security

9.1. The Club takes reasonable measures to protect personal data, including limiting access to Club administrators who need it to run the Club, and relying on the security measures of its hosting and email providers.

9.2. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. The Club cannot guarantee absolute security, and you should not send sensitive information (such as government ID numbers or financial details) to the Club — the Club never asks for them.

10. Links to Other Sites
